Apple App Store would likely lose its leading position to Google.

Google Play and App Store are the biggest app store on the internet. Google Play is for Android platform and App Store is for iOS. Moreover, Apple has sold 600 millions of products whereas the number of Android users is 900 million. Follow a professional statistic, Although Apple has fewer users than Google, they still have more revenue with iPhone, iPad than Google with Android devices such as smartphones and tablets. Apple has earned 5,1 USD, it’s 4 times higher than what Play Store has earned on Android

However, November 2012 to April 2013 is the period of time that Google’s profit increased from 19% to 27%. That makes Google has grounds to estimate their profit will rising on the next year for taking the leading position from Apple.
